REFUGEE PROGRAM

Refugees are people who have been forced to flee their country and have crossed their country borders. This is due to their real and genuine fear that they are in danger of serious harm or persecution due to their race, religion, nationality, sex or political opinion. This is always an issue of insecurity over internal wars, invasion of outside forces or events that seriously disturb the order in their country. This insecurities affect so many young people with 18.2% being young people between 5-11 years and 35% between 12-30 years. This has affects when it comes to development as those who are mostly affected are the young and women who play key roles in community development. In these camps they always lack quality education, proper health care and are still affected by insecurity as their camps are always targeted by militia. Some of the young people in these camps are ready to return home or are willing to beat all odds to remain relevant in our society today through fighting the menace, insecurity which is destroying most African countries. The refugee program focuses on helping young refugees realize their dreams by capitalizing on capacity building them on matters of security, community development, personal development and team building. We need to have them focus on being ambassadors of progressive attitude transformation and be drivers of economic development in these camps and there mother countries. The program bases on creating peace ambassadors and economic empowered young refugees who support themselves.
